I reckon the last thing we want is any shortfall shares . Patersons will collect a nice fee for arranging placement and underwriting but if their underwriting clients get shares then I would assume the would appear back on the market pretty soon.
I can't be bothered doing the calculation but if Minderoo don't take up their rights and possibly Rodne then there will be extras available for those who want to pick up some shortfall.
For the record I will be taking up my rights ( not for any other reason but the fact that my current holding owes me nothing )
