One in a hundred know of kava.

Yep! I would agree with that.

I was in Coles last week and purchased 4 shots and 3 - 50g packs. At the checkouts a lady in her 60s approached me and asked about the kava on the belt (I try not to go through the self checkout). Knowing a bit I was able to tell her what she needed to know. She was the one asking the questions as well. I was quite happy to get my groceries and leave.

We talked about kava being a good replacement to alcohol.

Having a slight buzz with a happiness side. Earthy taste (which she said she does not mind as she loves earthy wines - not sure what an earthy wine is but she said she likes her wine).

Very relaxing, deeper sleep patterns and good for muscle recovery.

Good health benefits and acts as an appetite suppressant, (in contrast to alcohol which gives her the munchies).

Now she said she would grab some on her next shop.

No-one knows the story, and the demographics appear to be wide ranging.

Once the traceability comes online, I would like to see Coles have a traceability bar code under the product telling people to scan the item which tells them about the product.
