Yes that's possible but highly unlikely , whoever is selling won't be the type of entity that are stuck for money , so trying to suppress the share price by selling an existing holding down and buying back cheaper seems like a lot of effort for minimal gain , I can't see them going to the bother but who knows.
It would simply be easier to buy on market and pump it and then everyone would jump on , then dump , something that happens quite a bit on the ASX .
