My money is firmly on Option 2 now and the seller running out. Other brokers probably caught wind he/she was liquidating and shorted the pants off it.
Hopefully this means it will get back up to $2+ where it belongs soon and then skies the limit down the track when further deals lock in and cash starts flowing.
