WebIress not what it used to be

Have been noticing continued degradation in the speed of the Webiress excel rtd over the last few years to the point where you can no longer leave a quote sheet running whilst you are using another excel workbook as it freezes for a few seconds every few seconds.

It is frustrating considering what a slick and bulletproof data interface this used to be for retail investors.

I suspect the issue lies with overloaded servers at Iress as watching the data flow through in real time shows it is very choppy with lags and then bursts.

I think it is likely Iress servers in the 203.32.184.0 to 203.32.185.255 range using ports 443 or 6443 for their TCP connections are overloaded?

Possibly this is because of the rise in Algo trading and the (TCP pipe) tech can no longer cope (seems unlikely to me), or possibly it is because Iress is no longer focussed on WebIress as a core product with it's new offering, and certainly not excel interfaces.

Regardless, the excel RTD interface to Webiress is becoming unusable for anything except snapshots or a very limited dataset.

Hoping someone at Iress reads this and looks into the problem... @IRESS ?
