In reply to your message: With respect, what I think you are missing is that you are running with the herd. You long on supporting good news, and you short on the opposite. I don't know, maybe its working for you. But, you don't think the market reacts just as quickly to this sort of news as what you are capable of? It would almost make more sense (though I don't recommend it, without a deeper process) to do the opposite - short the good news and long the bad news.
