Hi FXers
Bit of waffle here so bear with me, after the ASX closed this arvo, had a bit of time on my hands so started to look at a few websites that I had "favourited" over the last few months and re-visited www.fxstreet.com and then got onto another site called www.fxinstructor.com and on the home page was a diary of news announcements for today and scheduled for 9.30am London time(8.30pm aedt)there was a heading Gross Domestic Product with an estimated forecast of -3.3%, I thought this looked juicy so looked at the GBP/USD chart and it was going up but decided to get in early and go short, sure enough it went on up to about 1.5305 so doubled up and went short again about 30 seconds before 8.30 and whooshka, look at the chart,as usual, got out too soon at 1.5277 but made a few pips.

I am a learner but the news and finding out when worldwide markets open/close sure put another weapon in your arsenal.
