Hi guys, this is my first post.

What you have got to realise with WEC is that their tech is two-part. Without getting too technical it involves the cleaning of coal through a chemical process to make it injectable to replace diesel in generators (reducing GHG by around 30% or more). The second bit is their briquetting technology which gets rid of some nasties and, more importantly moisture. This has huge implications in North America (and elsewhere) where they of course transport coal from areas like the Powder River Basin 1000s of miles to their power plants.

White have recently started WEC USA and appointed a US President.

I don’t have a lot of ESI shares, and am not fully conversant with their tech, but hope to have a look at the plant in the near future. For my money any reasonable looking CC Tech is worth putting a few bob into, because like it or not we are inexorably heading down that path and other than NextGen, there is not a lot
happening in Oz
