Until Texas & Florida overtake California in daily new cases, california is going to remain the worst state in terms of daily new cases for now (over 3000 new cases per day)
Other states might have faster increasing rates but that's not what I'm referring to.
Overall numbers, New York was the worst.
My comment was in response to a false impression that republican states have increasing cases & democrat states decreasing.
I'm not interested in US politics.

Look at how steep the curve is for Hawaii (democrat state).
That's a straight line up
Does that make it the worst state?
No
So im not sure where the 'wrong again champ' comes from.
I'd like to see what I've said that is actually incorrect

Telling someone they are wrong unfortunately doesn't make it true.

Anyway new cases doesn't mean much these days.
Doing more tests in a state could increase numbers.
Travellers from overseas could increase numbers.
There are a lot of factors to consider.

The only time to be concerned with new cases is when the origin is unknown & can't be traced.
That's when the virus continues to spread uncontrolled.
When the virus spreads to the elderly & unhealthy, then that should be of concern.
That will increase the death rate.

If the entire world catches it & nobody dies from it any more, nobody is going to care.
