Wed 2nd Jan - New start ?

Hope everyone had a good New Years eve and break. Welcome to 2019 - what will today bring ? A new start, or more of the same ? US finished the year off with the DOW up 1.15 pct and the SNP up .85 pct. VIX was down 10.30 pct to 25.42. Canada (resource driven) was up .71 pct. SPI Futures did an 80 point drop-off into the close to finish the year at 5561, one point off the last trading day's low, leaving gaps up at 5596, 5625 and 5646, and the next down gaps are at 5629, 5504 and 5482 for those that are interested. IG SPI Futures CFD ran all night after SPI Futures closed, and the last bid/offer was/is 5573.8 / 5580.8 depending on whether you are long or short - nice spread . I'm thinking a nice first trading day of the New Year opening gap to ponder. Have a nice day.
