I know the higher level of volatility is making it “easier” but all I do is use 5min chart, Bollinger bands with 13 day moving average and macd. I open the position when there is a full body candle close above or below the MA (can do with heiken ashi for a cleaner chart) and close it when the macd shows a signal to buy if I’m short. I use the macd to close instead of a candle close above or below the MA because I’ve noticed it catches the reversal sooner and I leave less money on the table.
