Wed 9th Jan - Wall Day

SPI Futures traded in 42 point range last night, with a high of 5694, low of 5652 and a close this morning of 5683, up 20 points, on low volume.  Based on that range, my pivot point for today is 5676, with resistance lines at 5718, 5708, 5702, 5697, 5692 and 5687 and support lines at 5666, 5660, 5655, 5650, 5645 and 5634. No gaps above, and gaps below at 82, 77, 72, 64, 48, 11, 07, etc. If history is any indicator of things to come, those gaps will fill soon as I got a margin call during the night. DOW up 1.09 pct, SNP up .97 pct and Canada (resource driven) up less at .72 pct. VIX down 4.35 pct to 20.47 - it's all wonderful again. In the news, China this, Wall that...
