Boy, the trade war sure is a sensitive issue! I should move to America. I tried to short US markets around 11 pm, but it was too early. The real easy action normally happens during their market hours. Maybe Japan yesterday was a signal of what was to come. Note that commodities were mixed overnight, so no significant hope there. I thought this was interesting from @paddington bear :

"Deutsche Bank... had an awful day and scored yet another all-time low!!!! Watching DB so closely makes me worry that there is something seriously wrong with the international banking system. Would not surprise me if we aren’t close to someone popping their head up out of the trenches and yelling the word debt and everyone will take fright."
