I am not refering to candlestick patterns in particular...that is just a specific form of chart.......What is of interest is the open and closing price in relation to the volume.....Today's price action demonstrates why it is impossible to rely only one form of analysis....Technical and Fundamental analysis work hand in hand..to ignore one at the expense of the other is foolhardy. at best
As I have said..I do not hold BHP....if I did I would not sell....but for me it is not the time to buy...too volatile....I just feel very sorry for the people that are sitting in losing positions wondering whether or not they should just close out and wear the loss...unfortunately the time to sell has long gone.....This may not be the bottom of the market but it's not far away and to sell now will certainly crystalyse losses...
Personally, I am watching very closely for the right time to buy back in......
