PROCEEDINGS Golden West Resources Ltd (Golden West) advises that on Monday 24 December 2007, Messrs Con Markopoulos, Alan Rudd and Michael Wilson filed an application with the Supreme Court of Western Australia seeking (amongst other things) an injunction preventing Chairman Geoff Wedlock and Company Secretary John Palermo from acting as officers of the Company. The Honourable Justice Hasluck did not grant any injunction as sought in the application, and adjourned the application to a further hearing set down for Friday 4 January 2008. The Company remains confident in the validity of both Mr Wedlock�s appointment as Chairman and Mr Palermo�s continuing engagement as Company Secretary. ENDS
