I would chew off my right arm rather than have to live in the US … the inequality there sticks in my craw.
But I am in awe of pert near institutionalised innovation embedded there … it’s mind boggling … the country … it’s legal and political framework nurture and encourage it.
Right now I suspect Xi’s expansionist missteps kick started a new wave of innovation to allow the US to tool up with new, ultra efficient factories to regain high end manufacturing, fewer but high end jobs and of course an increasing GDP and probably increasing GDP per capita as a result.
