SPI Futures traded in a 59 point range last night, with a high of 6390, low of 6331, and a close at 6388, 2 points off the top, up 53 points on volume of 13,435 contracts. Based on that range, my pivot point and R and S levels are below. SPI gapped down at the open of the night session, filled the gap and then went up like a popped champers cork. Gaps below from last night at 6382, 6378, 6366, 6364, 6356 and 6347. The outstanding opening gap at 6378 from June 3rd filled last night, leaving gaps above at 6403, 6411, 6412, 6430, 6461, 6471, 6472 and 6476. US markets soared on 'Interest rate cuts hopes' yes, gotta love that hopium. DOW up 2.06 pct, SNP up 2.14 pct and Canada up less, at .94 pct. VIX down 9.70 pct to 17.03. Interest rate cut here in Australia yesterday - yes, that's how good the economy is going, the lowest interest rates in history. Have a nice day. Should be a nice gap at the open. Cheers

Today in 1988, the longest champagne cork flight was recorded at 177 feet, 9 inches at Woodbury Vineyards in New York State. I bet there are some corks being popped tonight in New York. Yes, it's wonderful, the Fed may reduce interest rates because the tariff situation is so bad. You couldn't make it up if you tried.
