Hey BV, BHP was incredibly strong this morning... tried shorting it early and then covered as it broke through the day high... which was about 1 min before the RIO announcement. But alls well, got short RIO on the re-open which is looking sweet at the moment. Long some Dow futs as hedge, think the US will go higher tonight on back of this 'bad bank' creation story.
Agree with you Slaveman, we're in a new world and the old rules dont apply anymore. I think we will avoid armageddon by all the money/plans/stimulus being thrown at the market, but the consequence of that is a potential zombie market for a number of years.
