SPI Futures traded in another large range last night, being 337 points, with a high of 5337, low of the magic round number of 5000, and a close this morning of 5279, down 7 points, on high volume (for us), but lower than lately, of 35,730 contracts. US in the green, with the DOW up 5.20 pct after dropping below 20,000 early in the session, SNP up 6 pct and Canada (resource driven), up less, at 2.63 pct. VIX down 8.20 pct to 75.91, so still in the high zone. Yes traders, big swings, up and down, would be nice to tread water for a while, instead of the sink or swim mentality. Let's see if the US Futures can survive their night session without going limit-up, or limit-down. Australia not going into lock-down, but overseas Aussies better get home quick... Humm. Have a nice day.
Today in 1996, 50,000 swimmers raised 15 million for charity during BT's Swimathon '96. Good on ya...
