Wednesday May 15 - Globetrotters day

SPI Futures traded in a 40 point range last night, with a high of 6266, low of 6226 and a close this morning of 6251 up 25 points on volume of nearly 13,000 contracts. Based on that range, my pivot point and R and S levels are below. Yesterdays opening day gap filled last night but the night session open did not, leaving gaps from last night up at 6264 and 6261, and down at 6248, 6247, 6242, 6237 and 6225 from the close of the day session.

As we trot around the globe, we see Asia in the red yesterday, Europe and the US in the green, (although off their session highs going into the close) with the DOW up .82 pct, SNP up .80 pct and Canada (resource driven) up less, at .56 pct. VIX down 12.12 pct. Am watching the XJO daily for a possible red arrow. She did well to claw back yesterday from the low, and we still have those upper gaps to fill. Have a nice day.





Today in 1981, "Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island" aired on Television. The Castaways and the Harlem Globetrotters battle a team of evil robots in a game of basketball for ownership of Gilligan's Island. This was the final made for Television Gilligan's Island film (no surprise there) starring the original cast Bob Denver, Alan Hale Jr. Jim Backus, Natalie Schafer, Russel Johnson and Dawn Wells, and of course, the Globetrotters. Yes, you couldn't make it up if you tried. If  you missed it, I wouldn't worry about it. Just like the market. Oh, and speaking of which, today in 1990, the Dow Jones average hit a record of 2,822.45 - Yawn.. Let's play basketball and battle some evil algorithmic robots... Poof.
