SPI Futures traded in a 52 point range last night, with a high of 6487, low of 6435 and a close this morning at 6441 down 43 points, on volume of 11,000 contracts. Based on that range, my pivot point and R and S levels are below.
Yesterdays opening gap at 61 filled at 01:30 this morning (nice short from 93) and the outstanding gap at 42 filled at 05:50. Gaps from last night up at 6447, 6461, 6471, 6472 and 6476, and down at 34 from a previous day (she only got to 35), then 6368, the 80 pointer from the close of May 18, and more below that. Selling accelerating into the close, saw the DOW down .93 pct, SNP down .84 pct and Canada (resource driven) down less, at .30 pct. VIX up 10.22 pct to 17.47. SPI indicating XJO to be down .55 pct, let's see what the ES futures do at 8 am. After all that work last night, I'm thinking a gap up at our open. Have a nice day.
