Agree, Dougie. There's a greatness to SGH that goes beyond other ASX stocks:
1. The intrigue of a law firm. And a fighting law firm at that
2. But that tried and teach the Poms a lesson with a major UK acquisition (Arthur Daley is laughing)
3. The debt owed to NAB, WBC, C, and MQG - all household names
4. Charismatic (and perhaps hubristic) CEO - AG
5. Rumblings of fraud in the whiplash (and NIHL) portfolios. Who could have invented "crash for cash?"
6. 500th/500 (still) ranking in All Ordinaries - the Wooden Spooner - everyone loves an underdog
7. The dogged determination of longs to see glory again and more - and the "retail mugs" may yet have their day
8. The good (and the black) humour of so many posters
9. The photo collections to make you laugh
10. "Loading up the Truck" thread - all time HC classic
Best of all...
11. The ending of the story is not yet known and hangs in balance like a thriller. It's a great story and stays in the most discussed for this reason.
