Wednesday September 25 - Arrow Rider

SPI Futures traded in a 87 point range last night, with a high of 6739, low of 6652, and a close this morning of 6663, down 72 points, on volume of 13,225 contracts. Yesterday morning's opening gap at 24 filled at the 8 pm bar, and a 65 point red to green arrow - Nice. Gaps from last night are up at 6704, 6708 and 6715. Gaps below from previous days are at 6649 and 6644.

In the headlines - Political 'upheaval' and trade 'chaos' - Trump calling China bad names again at the United Nations whilst waiting for an impeachment inquiry to be announcemed, and Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) data coming in lower than expected, saw the DOW down .53 pct, SNP down .84 pct and Canada (resource driven), down .41 pct. VIX up 14.35 pct to 17.05. Gold and bond prices were up. Have a nice day.



Today in 1982, the "Knight Rider", starring David Hasselhoff, debuted on NBC TV. The series followed the adventures of Michael Knight, a modern-day crime fighter who used a technologically advanced, artificially intelligent automobile named KITT, which was virtually indestructible, due to a high-tech coating applied to it. Yes, I'm working on my own version which will either be called the "Arrow Rider", or the "Night Trader", starring my car, who's name is GAP. Yes, childish maybe, but traders must maintain a good sense of humour, as those that have worked on a trading floor would know - particularly the Night Trader, and artificial intelligence is just that... Artificial - just like some things you read.
