Fwiw, the reason I went +100 was that the 4 CPI figures out tonight almost exactly matched expectations … no nasty surprises, with Core CPI (which the Fed watches more closely than CPI) year on year down to 4.3% in August from 4.7% in July.
But then, my pins on recent CPI nights have been disastrous lol.
