"Has this Tom Demark got any idea ? Is he on Demark ?"

I dunno, but we will know in August 2013 how this prediction went.

DeMark is a well respected US market forecaster and I have seen him interviewed on CNBC and Bloomberg, which may be considered a blot on his reputation. I doubt he always gets it right and I wonder how good his systems are in predicting market moves in what is still an economy dominated by state owned enterprises and subject to a lot of government involvement.

My wild guess is that the Shanghai market had fallen too far for the liking of their government when it fell below 2000 so they sent in the boyz to prop up their market with heavy buying. A bit like the fabled Plunge Protection Team the US is supposed to have and which failed in its mission in 2008 after Lehman Bros went under.
