Most trading setups come with the first 25% of the time period you are trading IMO, and usually applies to most time frames.
As per chart you can see some of the fast moves in and out of these dates. Feb 2010 and Nov 2010 probably good examples
While the rally back up was probably a given, if we had kept going down I would be looking seriously for longs come Friday
Does it always work ?? NO , but the sweetest trades come from the ones that do.
I guess the best thing to take away from these periods, is to wait for the confirmation and avoid the chest pumping in either direction.
