Wouldn't want to own a bulk transport ship these days. Maybe an oversupply. Cheap ship rates should reduce demurrage costs for coal exporters?
Try coal spot price as an indicator. This is thermal coal, more Asian plants being installed on a continual basis. For those that think this demand could crash, you need to believe that these plants will be shut down and lights switched off. Maybe, but that's not the way I'm betting.
