i think maybe martis would be sitting back with a wry smile this morning....yesterday I sent him a chart of what I thought was a broadening formation on the 15 minute dow chart.....Martis became very agitated on HC when he saw a broadening formation forming through 2007 and it earned him notoriety amongst the general HC population (not so much the XJO intelligentsia).....I think maybe many didn't know what the hell a broadening formation was (including me back then)....so for any of the general HC population who are still wondering what the hell a broadening formation is here is a perfect example....but on a much shorter time frame to the 2007 one.....maybe there is another name for this pattern nowadays but edwards and magee call it a broadening formation
