What suprises me during this powerful goose chase - is the markets have somehow forgotten about that small issue called "troubles assets". Sure Goldman repaid their TARP and some others have too. I have to wonder if there is a downturn who is going to fund the $9 trillion in credit default sub-investment grade exposures?
ANyone want to guess?
China buying more bonds, perhaps? lol.
Ahhh.. gotta love the Banks upgrades two weeks ago and those buying them up.
