I have a problem with the deflationist view in nominal terms (ie dollars). Before the SPX hit 400, there will about twenty stimulus packages. Helicopter Ben will print dollars like Dr Gono in Zimbabwe. In gold terms i can agree with SPX @ 400.
The cycles indicate a horrible year ahead, all the systemic problems remain and perhaps have been made worse by the government intervention...
Some people at work told me its a great time to get back into shares last week and to look how good this rally has been. OMG Alarm bells! Than again, this is the new normal and this time its all different isnt it?
