Interesting chart I came across today This chart is a very long term Dow chart that's been adjusted for inflation (and on log scale). Goes some way to explaining how you may have been in the market since 1978 and not necessarily had to think about cycles too much. Now reversion to the mean is taking place.
I think this chart is exaggerated and nowhere near as bearish as it appears but I'll get back to that later.
