That's how the sq 9 works, it's the difference between various numbers using the square root as the basis for the calculations. It's really simple.
Basically the numbers have the same value as Gann's always have, so the strong ones are 1, 2, 4, 8, then 3, 6 with 5 and 7 the weakest in that sequence.
That suggests 950 is a resistance level rather than a turning point but other factors could be at work to combine at this price and time to call a top?
The XAO has pushed up through this level so it looks as if it's just a resistance level for the SP500, the 5th sq 9 level since the 666.8 low.
Interesting that we haven't quite got to the strong sq 9 levels for the XAO and XJO using the 10-3-09 lows.
XAO was 3090.8
sq root 3090.8 = 55.595 + 8 = 63.595 squared = 4044.3
XJO was 3120.8
sq root 3120.8 = 55.864 + 8 = 63.864 squared = 4078.6
Almost there.
