Like saying if it weren't for people eating meat, bread and milk, primary producers would go broke.
We consume, they profit. The world consumes, Australia profits.
Iron ore, coal and Gold. Have been among our top exports for years.
We are lucky to have abundance of these and hence our wealth...nothing new in that, is there?
It never ceases to amaze me that some feel we have to flaggelate ourselves because we are doing well.
Is it some guilt complex?
