You have been having it tough.

Had a home invasion myself years back where the bloke had a gun and cut our telephone line etc.

It took myself and wife a long time not to jump at every noise outside at night. She had chairs jammed up against doors and was often in tears. I had a gun under my bed.

At least we weren't bashed so I can only imagine a little of what you have been going through.

All I can say is it will get better slowly.

You sound like a tough cookie and I know life must have some good in store to make up for it.
