its a fair point, what you are saying is true for a pre revenue company a $500k salary is high.
I remember when Coby started a few years back and he started on about $280k and they have increased it over time as the company has neared commercialisation.
personally i am ok with it as i know how good he is and him and Dadi appear to work really well together. i also would prefer him to be paid probably closer to ~$300k right now as we are pre revenue but if Dadi and the rest of the board think its appropriate then i am happy with their judgement.
i disagree with the point about how if people truly believe in a company they should work for share based payments instead. that is an unrealistic approach that will never happen for industry veterans. you may attract some young 30 yr old who is willing to do that but you will never get experienced talent that way.
