Your financial advisor will charge you a few grand to do a through market analysis, come up with a "diversified portfolio" and then struggle to beat the basic DJIA or ASX 200 index (I think stats are 80-90% of them can't even beat these indexes). They will scream about risk management, a balanced portfolio blah blah blah.
I said to Mrs Gibson some time ago..."you know we are way overweight on WBT, we are doing what all the experts say you shouldn't do, we have loaded up and when you have so much all on the one stock, you're at high risk here".
Her response: "not when you're on the right stock, you're not".
