In 2015 Micron was almost bought by the CHINESE TSINGHUA UNIGROUP. It was not possible as the US did not allow the acquisition.



One of the goals of Unigroup was to continue developing Next Generation RRAM and MRAM memories. XMC is a subsidiary of Unigroup and this is taken from this article. As the acquisition never materialized, the intent of the Chinese semiconductor industry remained strong and new generation ReRam memories have been now tested and accepted by other Chinese companies, namely XTX and Sien working in conjunction with Weebit.
Let's not forget about these accomplishments while the SP does what is expected to do ( Expands & Contracts...Thank god....Try climbing a steep hill if you run or hike...We all need to take a breath from time to time. With any Growth, the same happens...It takes some breathing to make it to the TOP and our growth since last summer has been constant based on a number of announcements .
