here is my speculative portfolio for shares I hold. I have 14 portfolios and Speculative is one of them. To be in this the firm needs to have something unique and under development. Probably no current customers but huge potential. The share prices are triggered by news of progress. I believe that all these pay off in the long term and are up and down in the short term.
So when you look at the share price performance over different intervals what you notice is that if you hold them for a year there is a big payoff. Two years even bigger. If you look at a smaller timeframe it might pay off but you will lose a lot by not holding in the longer term. All of mine I hold for a long time and like to see big payoffs for success. Here is my heatmap of SP as of end of yesterday. Excellent returns over the long term. Doesn't really matter much if it goes up or down today. But sellers lower prices and buyers increase prices. So if you own and sell it is probably not a good idea!
