This was the exact issue that prevented me trading out at the 4.30ish spike.
My rationale at the time was that given my purchase price was around 30c, and within a year, that selling would incorporate a tax of around 4 x 0.45 or 1.80. In essence i had to bet on if i thought the price would retreat to below $2.50. I didn't think that would be the case. It turns out I was wrong in this instance, but it would have been one hell of a gamble for a 70c cheaper buy in. Instead I just added to my holdings when it dropped below $2.
