What annoys me is the thought of how many people knew this was in the pipeline prior to Market Eye sending out the email? Surely some insider trades occurred in the 1-2 days prior to this being sent out by mistake?
It is my opinion that if the number of shorts are proven to have dropped dramatically from 30-31 August, then to me this is indicative that insider short covering took place. It would be far too coincidental otherwise.
