I'm sure you've heard the old saying "the best time to buy real estate is when there is blood in the streets".
There are many reasons for market pessimism at the moment:
COVID Delta & Omicron
Increasing doubts about post-COVID economic recovery
Sabre rattling from China, Russia & USA
The beginnings of a new arms race
Rising interest rates and fear of a housing market down-turn
Fear over economic impacts of greenhouse emissions reduction targets
It's pretty much a perfect storm. I'm kind of surprised how well the markets have held up really. But it will also become a buying opportunity at some point.
