For a company in R&D phase it seems that no news is bad news (same thing for mineral explorers). The market thinks nothing is happening. That is all that is going on here.
On the other hand you can't keep producing announcements without significant new content, just to keep the SP up. The market will soon get wise to that and start thinking "what are they trying to hide". So you're damned if you do and damned if you don't, as the saying goes.
