Thanks for the refresher comincon, here is the link to sub 5nm, it was announced in the Radar Iron days pre the reverse take over.
When I was talking Coby just days after deferring 300mm wafers at 28nm so as to conserve funds. I recall him when asked, if they needed to stack to achieve 28nm. He replied there is no need to stack as there is plenty of room on the wafer for 28nm and below without stacking.

When scaling to 28nm was deferred I estimate it was about 6 weeks away form completion, so I would not be very surprised if 28nm is not announced in the coming weeks.
