quantam leap . . lets put reram v flash into perspective.

Coby used the analogy the other day that the demo chips are like connecting a new type of engine to the car so you can really see how it performs in running versus the testing of the engine in a lab.

it appears reram is looking to achieve the 1000/1000/100 that was specified . . resilience/speed/ power usage . . .

to give some context of the quantam leap that reram will offer over flash. lets assume flash 'engine' is your standard v6 engine. top speed 160km hr car needs servicing every 10k km and gets 12 km for every litre of fuel . .

so what would a car with a reram engine be capable of . . service . . multitudes higher . every 50-100k km perhaps even 200k km. top speed . . tens of thousands of km per hour . . and that one litre of fuel . . would take you from melb to brisbane. ohhh and the engine costs half as much ro make and is easier to make and any engine manufacturer in the world can easy make it. when the market grabs this how many engine manufactures / car makers will still be making old school v6 engines/cars in 5 yrs?

when you can grasp the quantam leap forward that reram is over flash you will be able to see what the next 5 yrs will be for wbt.
