When my kids were young we got them to plant seedlings and water them and watch them grow. We explained to them how plants had to make roots to suck up the water. Some days were too sunny and they wilted a bit. When they looked sick we often had to stop the kids from pulling them up to look at the roots to see how they were taking. Many investors have the same problem. A new company is not born fully formed. It has to do a whole set of tasks in the right order before it delivers serious growth. There will be external factors, and doubtless some internal ones too, that make a company wilt a little from time to time, and especially when the sun shines too much for it. My recommendation? Water it gently, don't pull it up because it is looking wilty, and leave the roots to do what the plant knows it has to do. You will always lose a few plants, so plant more than one.

To change the metaphor somewhat. When you are pregnant you will be pregnant for a while, but only for a while. Hopefully only until the baby is ready to be born, not too long before, and not too long after. Developments of all sorts run by their own internal agendas based on what they need to develop. Whether they be plants, babies, or tech companies. They know what they are doing. The process cannot be rushed just to suit your anxiety. I see WBT as being very much within this pattern.

I have a number of stocks in my portfolio that have been pregnancies for quite a while, but I have learned to be patient. Investing in tech stocks is pretty similar. I hold AKP ATX PEB PET RCE TTT WATT and WBT. I said similar things about others when I invested, and most have done brilliantly until I sold up and moved my funds on. Some are in the compost.
