Thx for posting @LifeStar.
I have taken a position on the sideline recently with nothing to add constructively.
However this interview and particularly the last 5 minutes are a must watch for all holders IMO.
If you do not trust CH and WBT management by now I feel for you. Definitely you must have trust issues as these guys are next level.
Coby just told us that it is a choice of TMSC or Weebit Nano if you want ReRam. That is it as of this moment.
He then goes on to share a research house is calling for ReRam to go from 0 to $500M in 3 yrs. It is highly likely they are using linear predictions which have been shown to be 100% incorrect in all disruptions. Another consideration is the product invention/revolution made possible by faster NVM. This is going to be game changing technology. Predictions of market size are a fools errand atm as it is nearly impossible to predict were ReRam may lead.
This is disruption, pure and simple. Had I been the interviewer the next question was, is that revenue coming from a collapsing Flash market? I am almost certain it is.
I and others have been banging on for yrs about disruption. I cannot stress this highly enough, first to production in in a disruption usually takes up to 50%(sometimes higher) share of the market. So with superior performance (up to 1000X 1000X 100X) and lowest cost per bit, WBT is now the prime suspect to win and will possibly be(after qualification at SKYT) the only alternative commercially available for ReRam in 6ish short months to TMSC.
ReRam is about to become the hot topic in NVM and Semiconductors(one of the hottest sectors) and there is TMSC or WBT. Please let that sink in.
Tesla is a very good example of new tech disrupting a dominant old one. It has taken them 15yrs to enter the 'S' curve of disruption. The industry had 100yrs of old power behind it(fossil fuel, media and govt regs) to break through. It could only do so if the product was 10x better. Nobody but the acolytes believed it could succeed, certainly not the auto industry, as approx 1000 previous start-up car manufacturers had all failed.
Thankfully for WBT it is not only customers who want a better product but the Semiconductor Industry as well. They will welcome and adopt ReRam with open arms once they trust it. WBT's entry from 0 sales into the 'S' curve should be much shorter at roughly 12 to 18 months. The percentage gain is going to blow your mind.
