and as recent as Sep 22 he had this to say when asked by Proactive Investors "what's the focus for you between now and the end of the year?"

"We really have quite a few things that are expected before the end of the year including finishing the qualification on the Leti wafers, getting the wafers from SkyWater, we're doing more work on the 22nm, we have a lot of commercial discussions with advanced fabs, we're talking about big fabs with customers so I don't know what will materialise and how on all of these fronts but there really is a lot of exciting things now in the next few months for us."

Not sure where you get the idea that another fab/customer would not be signed up until qualification with SkyWater is complete. Every time he opens his mouth he talks about the positive discussions WBT are having with big fabs ... and by big fabs, he's talking about those with 28nm capabilities such as GlobalFoundries and Intel (unlike SkyWater).

From the above I think it's safe to say there will be some major announcements prior to end of the year which is why it's so dangerous imo to be out of this stock from hereon in.

That was the impression I and others
got from the interview, yes, talks are happening, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were all on the sidelines waiting. I agree announcements are coming, big ones, important milestones in qualification, scaling down, perhaps a customer integrating our chip into their product. However the talks might be hinging upon this qualification process being successful. Regardless, the team continues to deliver. It's just a matter of time for us.
