    Some people have no patience.

When a company says they expect a result around a certain time, it is just that, an expectation based on their previous experience and the current interactions with he other party to date. Its not a hard date.

With contracts, there are 2 parties involved. Surprise, the other company may not have the same timeline expectations as you. When you set expectations, you have a feeling based on your interactions to date and their enthusiasm, then you find out they have the lawyer from hell or there is a sticking point that only gets revealed deeply into the discussions.

Add to this that humans being humans, management have an overly optimistic view of how things will proceed and a particular confirmation bias. We know technically and business plan wise WBT have been performing. We now test out their ability to do deals. Experience over time will tell us investors how well they do there. Skywater was a very good start, perhaps a few more deals will say how many grains of salt we apply to their commercialisation path expectations.

Any investor that is counting down to the day though is simply not being realistic and that will cost you money longer term.
