The rubber hasn't hit the road for us yet, so any share you can get now will, if we are successful, most likely will have a multiple attached to it in a few years.
In the decades coming there appears to be a deglobalisation effect in play. Demographics around the world show a declining birth rate and an aging population. This also means that any complex supply chains will becoming much more expensive, or brittle.
I'm therefore unsure the goals of promoting EVs, green energy, etc will be as successful as a result. And any side effects of potential growth there we will be able to profit off will not be as large as desired or perceived.
But one thing is for sure, the reduced diversity of material required for our chip means that local production of a ReRAM chip is more possible for countries, and incentivised. Energy will only become more expensive in that world and things that can save on that (like our energy-efficient ReRAM) with a much simpler supply chain will become much more attractive. And perhaps for some the only option.
The potential for growth then is immense. We align so well with where the world is heading and what the world demands. This is why it is not too late and further growth from this company can have a lot to come. We only have one customer (SkyWater) and yet to go into production for any signed up customers. However, when and if this happens, the flood gates may then open as others realise how immense this opportunity is.
If one could click their fingers and replace all the devices with Flash NVM with our ReRAM, the alleged stats show power will be reduced, production will be cheaper, the material will be more accessible, etc. This is a much better position than where the world is right now. TSM and Apple helped create this path of least resistance immensely. How on earth could you market this selling point any better? That can hurry on our success given implementation goes well with SkyWater which reduces time to accumulate before things really start to take off. In which I'll go back into the snowball off the mountain analogy where we are pushing that snowball down, we're seeing if SkyWater sticks as our first chunk of snow. If it does, then we start rolling faster and growing and we head down that mountain. We're still a small snowball now.
