game changing automotive revenue delivery is the answer - its that simple the more you drill down the more you realise WBT are very deliberately ( by request as we know) targeting vehicle dynamic management system micro-controllers.
use case:
ultra low power combined with uncorrupted data retention requires bit storage without additional charge being required. - no loss and instant on = $$$$ - disruption with a capital D
eliminating sneak path removes what has traditionally been the weakest link and has been the developers nightmare as inefficient work around's and process tweaks have been the go to process.....very inefficient and power hungry.
Weebit imo is / has addressed this 'weakest link' defect by ensuring the bits most susceptible to failure in the array retain 100% functionality and are free of current interference.
As far as I am aware this is an industry first - architecture design changes have been the industry go and that additional cost and space is now redundant - important because final IP design must adopt product requirements in terms of write cycles (endurance) and temp operating efficiency....(Grade 0.1.2 and 3) as this write cycle directly effect speed and complexity of the erase algorithm.
we know WBT are temp qualling to 175 deg +
we know ( thanks Ilan Sever for the clue) they have and are deep tweaking the speed algorithm ( the erase / write complexity ) for optimal performance @ 100%

this is Huge IMO
additional automotive quall is going imo way beyond temp requirements and is heading into MCU auto dynamic management systems at 22nm -
Faster write time
Higher operating temperature (150°C and above)
Simpler erase (program) algorithm
NVM IP design from WBT delivers reliability to customer end product and opens them front and centre to the automotive market like no other ( not even Renesas....big call but true imo)
I've never seen a market opportunity like this from a start up .....
